The classic says: One is not punished by law, Seal and ribbon is in the same court as TianDe.
Also: Being a vegetarian with a compassionate heart, Seal and ribbon likes to meet TianDe.

Structures like this must have the Qi or Birth and Prosperity, and most unfavorable are Qi of Death and Extinction.
If Yi sees Hai or Zi as Seal, seeing Metal would complete its 'benevolence and righteousness engendering and nurturing', if Seal sees Earth then it would contaminate the structure, when Luck goes to west, Officer and Seal are blessings, if the EBs of Month, Day and Hour are Mao, Chen or Si, or if the Luck Pillar goes to these EB, Wealth and Seal are returned to Death and Extinction, and if LiuNian (Small Luck) seeing Wealth countering Seal again, it would definitely result in death of that person.
Seal and ribbon combination structure, it is most unfavorable when Seal is combined, or the EBs has the triple combo, or if it changes to become a Hurting frame, or become a Wealth frame or become a Devil frame, that is most inauspicious.
Trey: For example Xin metal born in the month of Chen, seeing Zi and Shen would form a water frame, which is also the Hurting Officer frame for DM, refers to Useful God changes
Hi Trey,
ReplyDeleteFor a Yi DM, if EB is Mao, Chen or Si, wealth and Seal are retuned to Death and Extinction? This Death and Extinction cannot be referring to 12 Stages so what is it actually?
Also, “Seal and ribbon combination structure, it is most unfavorable when Seal is combined, or the EBs has the triple combo, or if it changes to become a Hurting frame, or become a Wealth frame or become a Devil frame, that is most inauspicious.” Is this still applicable for a strong DM.?
Dear Joe,
ReplyDelete[For a Yi DM, if EB is Mao, Chen or Si, wealth and Seal are retuned to Death and Extinction? This Death and Extinction cannot be referring to 12 Stages so what is it actually?]
For a Yi DM born in Hai or Zi, it is a Seal structure.
Mao,and Si are Death and Extinction for the Water Seal. Chen is Wealth and can break the Seal
[Also, “Seal and ribbon combination structure, it is most unfavorable when Seal is combined, or the EBs has the triple combo, or if it changes to become a Hurting frame, or become a Wealth frame or become a Devil frame, that is most inauspicious.” Is this still applicable for a strong DM.?]
Generally, it does, Hurting Officer and 7K are malevolent gods. When the frame transforms Seal into either of them, it means Useful God becomes inauspicious.
As for Wealth frame, it can break the Seal, so it is also considered inauspicious. Seal is a benevolent Useful God that should be supported, according to the 顺用 concept.
Dear Trey,
ReplyDeleteThks for your reply. Mao and Si are Death and extinction for Ren but they are Chang shang and Tai for Gui. Why then was Zi included in the comment ?
For a ding DM with Wu Yin in month pillar, Yin which is Seal for Ding is at Death stage. Do I read this as Seal and Ribbon is in Death stage as well ?
Dear Joe
ReplyDeleteThe 12 Qi phases of elements usually refers to the Yang Stem, that is because of the nature of Yin and Yang, Yang persists and Yin surrenders.
As said in DTS
The five Yangs follow the Qi, do not follow the intensity, the five Yins follow the intensity with neither affection nor duty.
When Yang Stem is in Chang Sheng, its Qi persists in that particular EB. For example Water ChangSheng in Shen, Shen contain HS Ren.
When Yin Stem is in Chang Sheng, it does not persist its Qi, it follows the 势 (Intensity) of the season, for example Gui water ChangSheng in Mao, Mao's intensity is wood, so Gui would just follow wood Qi, consequently Mao does not have Gui underneath.
This concept is the reason why some practitioners totally disregard the 12 Qi stages of Yin stems and use only 12 Qi stages of Yang stems.
For Ding DM born in Yin,
Yin is the LinGuan stage for wood (Seal), Chang Sheng stage for fire (DM). So Seal and Ribbon is in LinGuan stage.
Correction:
ReplyDeleteso Gui would just follow wood intensity ,
Dear Trey,
ReplyDeleteI know of 2 famous masters who disregard the 12 Qi stages of Yin stems but they never explained the rational. Now I understand why this is so. Thank you for explaining this.
