Happy Diwali

Treybazi is up again for public viewing.

I want to wish a very Happy Diwali to everyone especially to my Hindu readers. I am not really a Hindu but I consider myself a partial Vaishnava, A Vishnu follower. To, me there's a certain depth to the concept of Vishnuism that I can grasp and it is very calming to me.

Diwali represents the victory of light over darkness, good over evil, hope over despair. The last one might be everyone's wish. Stay strong in the time of hardship, keep a positive outlook, pray and have faith. Things will eventually turn out alright.

Lakhsmi who is the consort of Vishnu, represents the material world, whereas Vishnu himself represents the Spiritualism. One cannot exist without the other. Ganesha is the remover of obstacles and the embodiment of knowledge and wisdom.

A simple little prayer for the new year.

I pray to Lakhsmi to bless me with wealth and prosperity for this new year and Ganesha to grant me wisdom and to
help me remove all obstacles of life.

  2. Hello Trey,

Started to learn bazi last year and stumbled on your blog. Thank you. It has been a great help.

There are a lot of translators on Patreon these day who receive donations. I hope that maybe some financial incentive will help re-spark your interest in translating. I am a big fan of chinese wuxia novels and i know that some translators make a livable wage off donations.
